It's a full week now since I played the Poker Million. Things have started to sink in now. I don't really get nervous whilst playing poker, even in events like these, and I found myself pretty much on auto pilot for the final. I knew what I needed to do and I was extremely focussed.
So as the rest of Europe fly off to Prague, the real champions are here in Luton for the finale of the GUKPT. The Champion of Champions week has some added spice this year, with the rankings going down to the Wire. With £20k for 1st it's not to be sniffed at.
The GUKPT Grand Final did not go too well for us. Me and James made day 2 with 33k and 106k respectively (50k average) I got off to a bad start going down to 11k at 800/1600(200) but had a great hour to get me to over 100k with 50 left. James had a bad start and could not get anything going
Where to start. The last 4 months since I made the November 9 have been some of the best ever. Making both the WSOPE and Poker Million finals in between was such a great confidence boost that I really felt like I was going to come back to Vegas and make a real run at this thing.Page 4 of 5
