So after two years of saying it, we've finally created a new site! We started the old blog at the beginning of 2007 and even though it didn't get many hits in the first year it still managed over 150,000 hits and over 200,000 page views during 2008 & 2009 which is pretty good. Our web address stays the same but our old blog has been moved back to the Blogspot address where it will stay as an archive.
A big thank you to our mate Joe who is the Director of Softforge web design and who helped us with the site. He done a great job and it was a pleasure working with him. I had a lot of time on my hands and I think I spent over 120 hours working on the site, but I really enjoyed it and learnt a lot of new stuff. I will just brief you on some stuff on the site to make it a bit easier to get around.
The Blog page is where our new blogs will be put up (obv) and you will still be able to leave comments like on the old blog (you too anonymous) The Hitsquad Bio page has a little profile about each of us and also has a cool photo gallery at the bottom. The Links page has a lot of poker related links aswell as all your blog links. Our old site had a feature which showed which blogs had a link to us on their site so I made sure I got all of you guys up first. The press page has loads of magazine and online articles. Thanks to all the editors and magazines I contacted for helping me obtain all those articles. Lastly the contact page has our emails, Twitter, Facebook etc if you wish to contact/follow us online.
